These Terms & Conditions explain the terms that apply when purchasing goods from us. Please read them carefully as they outline our commitments to you and your responsibilities when placing an order.

Key Terms at a Glance
1. About These Terms
These Terms & Conditions explain how we process orders, deliveries, returns, refunds and warranty claims, together with the responsibilities of both Macerator Pumps and our customers.
When you place an order and we accept that order, a contract is formed between you and Macerator Pumps for the purchase of the applicable goods.
Your statutory rights: Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or restrict any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
2. Delivery Procedure
2.1 Delivery Providers
Orders are delivered using professional external courier and logistics companies.
Customers must provide accurate delivery information, including their name, delivery address and contact details. Incorrect or incomplete information may cause delays and could result in additional redelivery charges.
2.2 Dispatch Notifications
Where applicable, you will receive an email or notification confirming that your order has been dispatched.
If you have not received a dispatch update within the expected timeframe, please contact our support team.
2.3 Signature Required
Most deliveries require a signature upon delivery. Couriers may be unable to leave items unattended or outside a property.
If nobody is available to accept the delivery, the courier may leave a calling card or electronic notification allowing you to rearrange delivery or collection.
If multiple delivery attempts are unsuccessful, the goods may be returned to us and additional redelivery charges may apply.
3. Delivery Timescales
We aim to provide UK Next Working Day Delivery wherever possible, but courier delays and other circumstances outside our direct control mean that next-day arrival cannot be guaranteed.
3.1 Dispatch Schedule
3.2 Typical Delivery Time
Smaller items will typically arrive on the next working day following dispatch, although this timeframe is not guaranteed.
3.3 Large & Palletised Deliveries
Larger or palletised orders may require a scheduled delivery. The courier or logistics provider may contact you to arrange a suitable delivery time.
Missed pre-arranged deliveries may result in additional delivery charges being applied by the courier.
3.4 Missing Delivery or Dispatch Update
If you have not received your order or a dispatch update within 4 working days, please contact us for assistance.
3.5 Maximum Expected Delivery Timeframe
Although most orders arrive sooner, please allow up to 5 working days for delivery.
4. Returns Policy – 30 Days
We offer a 30-day returns period from the date of purchase, subject to our returns conditions and your applicable statutory rights.
4.1 Conditions for Returns
For a standard return, items should be:
- Unused
- In their original packaging
- In a resellable condition
4.2 Return Costs
Customers are normally responsible for return postage for standard returns unless:
- The item arrived damaged.
- An incorrect item was supplied.
- Delivery exceeded 5 working days and the item is being returned because of the delay.
4.3 Refunds
Once returned goods have been received, inspected and approved, refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 7 days.
4.4 No Restocking Fees
5. Checking Goods for Damage
5.1 Courier Deliveries – Small Items
Please inspect your goods as soon as possible after delivery and notify us of delivery damage within 48 hours.
If significant damage to the parcel is clearly visible at the point of delivery, you should refuse the delivery where appropriate.
Prompt notification is important because courier claim deadlines may affect our ability to recover the cost of damaged goods.
5.2 Pallet Deliveries – Large Items
Please inspect the pallet and visible outer packaging before signing for delivery.
Drivers may allow reasonable time to inspect the visible condition of the delivery, but this may not include unpacking the entire pallet.
Where significant external damage is clearly visible, the delivery should be refused where appropriate.
5.3 Someone Accepting Delivery on Your Behalf
If another person accepts delivery on your behalf, please ensure they understand that the visible condition of the goods and packaging should be checked at the time of delivery.
6. Incorrect Goods or Missing Items
Please report incorrect or missing items within 48 hours of delivery so that we can investigate and resolve the issue promptly.
If we have supplied an incorrect item or made an error with your order, we will arrange to correct the issue at no additional cost to you.
7. Faulty Goods
If you believe your product is faulty on arrival, please notify us within 48 hours where possible so that we can investigate promptly.
- We may request photographs, videos or other information to assist with our assessment.
- The product may need to be returned to us for inspection before a replacement is supplied, unless otherwise agreed.
- If an urgent replacement is requested before the original item has been assessed, we may require temporary payment for the replacement. Where the original product is subsequently confirmed to be faulty, the applicable temporary payment will be refunded.
- If an item is returned and testing confirms that it is not faulty, applicable collection, return or redelivery charges may apply.
8. Warranty Terms
5-Year Warranty as Standard
Products purchased from Macerator Pumps, Macerator-Pumps.com or SaniPumps.co.uk are supplied with a 5-year warranty covering manufacturing faults and defective parts.
The warranty period runs from the date of purchase.
If a manufacturing fault or defective part is confirmed during the warranty period, we will provide a replacement item.
Warranty claims outside the applicable refund period are normally resolved by replacement rather than refund, without affecting any statutory rights that may apply.
In some cases, we may require the item to be returned for inspection and testing before a replacement can be issued.
Returned products should be securely packaged and in a sufficiently clean condition to allow safe inspection and testing.
The Warranty Does Not Cover:
- Incorrect installation
- Misuse or improper use
- Accidental damage
- Unauthorised modifications
- Neglect or lack of appropriate maintenance
