By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully as they outline our commitments to you and your responsibilities when purchasing from us.


1. About These Terms

These Terms & Conditions are designed to protect both you and Macerator Pumps. They explain our obligations to you, how we process orders, and your rights as a customer.

Placing an order on our website constitutes a binding contract between you and Macerator Pumps. By purchasing goods from us, you accept and agree to these Terms in full.


2. Delivery Procedure

2.1 Delivery Provider
Orders are delivered by professional external logistics companies. You must provide accurate personal details (name, delivery address, and contact number). Incorrect information may result in additional redelivery charges.

2.2 Dispatch Notifications
You will receive an email confirming dispatch. If you do not receive this, please contact our support team.

2.3 Signature Required
Most deliveries require a signature. If you are not available, a delivery attempt note will be left.
If multiple attempts fail, items will be returned to us and redelivery fees may apply.
Items cannot be left unattended or without a signature.


3. Delivery Timescales

We aim to offer UK Next Day Delivery on all orders, but please note that next day delivery cannot be guaranteed.

3.1

  • Orders placed before 2pm Monday–Friday: dispatched the same day

  • Orders placed after 2pm or on Friday–Sunday: dispatched the next working day

3.2 Smaller items typically arrive within Next working days of dispatch.

3.3 Larger/palletised items may require scheduling. Our logistics team may contact you to arrange delivery. Missed pre-arranged deliveries may incur additional charges at the courier’s discretion.

3.4 If you have not received your order or dispatch confirmation within 4 working days, please contact us for assistance.

3.5 Maximum delivery timeframe:
Although most orders arrive faster, please allow up to 5 working days for delivery.
If delivery exceeds 5 working days, you may be entitled to free return postage.


4. Returns Policy – (30 Days)

We offer a 30-day returns policy from the date of purchase.

4.1 Conditions for Returns

Items must be:

  • Unused

  • In original packaging

  • In resellable condition

4.2 Return Costs

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless:

  • The item arrives damaged

  • The incorrect item was received

  • Delivery exceeded 5 working days

4.3 Refunds

Refunds are issued within 7 days after returned items are inspected and approved.

4.4 No Restocking Fees

We do not charge restocking fees.


5. Checking Goods for Damage

5.1 Courier Deliveries (Small Items)
You must open and check items within 48 hours of delivery.
If damaged:

  • Do not sign for visibly damaged parcels

  • Contact us within 48 hours
    If we are not notified within 48 hours, we cannot claim from carriers and replacements may be chargeable.

5.2 Pallet Deliveries (Large Items)
Check the pallet and outer wrapping before signing.
Drivers will allow time to inspect visible packaging but not to unpack the entire pallet.
If damaged, refuse delivery.

5.3 If another person signs on your behalf, they must check goods. You accept responsibility for any damage missed if they do not check.


6. Incorrect Goods / Missing Items

6.1 You must report incorrect or missing items within 48 hours of delivery.

6.2 If the error is on our side, we will correct it immediately at no cost to you.


7. Faulty Goods

7.1 Faults must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
7.2 Photographic evidence may be required to assist assessment.
7.3 Faulty items must be returned to us for inspection before a replacement is supplied (unless otherwise agreed).
7.4 If a replacement is needed urgently, we may require payment which will be refunded once the faulty item is returned and confirmed faulty.
7.5 If the product is returned and found not to be faulty, the customer is responsible for collection or redelivery charges.


8. Warranty terms

All products purchased from Macerator Pumps / Macerator-Pumps.com are supplied with a 3-year warranty as standard. This warranty covers any manufacturing faults or defective parts that occur within the 3-year period from the date of purchase.

If a fault occurs, we will provide a replacement item, not a refund. Refunds are only available if the product was purchased within the first 30 days and meets our returns criteria.

In some cases, we may require the item to be returned to us for inspection and testing before a replacement can be issued. Returned items must be securely packaged and in a clean condition. Once the product has been assessed and confirmed faulty, a replacement will be sent promptly.

This warranty does not cover damage caused by incorrect installation, misuse, accidental damage, or modifications to the product.

All items sold on Macerator-Pumps.com include a 3-year warranty covering manufacturing defects and faults.
Warranty does not cover:

  • Incorrect installation

  • Misuse or modification

  • Neglect or lack of maintenance

We strongly recommend installation by a qualified tradesperson.


9. Cancellation Policy

Orders can be cancelled before dispatch for a full refund.
If the order has already been shipped, it must be returned under our 30-day returns policy.


10. Prices, VAT & Payment

  • Macerator Pumps does not charge VAT.

  • Pricing is transparent with no hidden fees.

  • Payment options include major debit/credit cards and other secure methods.


11. Liability Disclaimer

Once items leave our warehouse, we are not responsible for courier delays.

We are not liable for:

  • Loss of income or business

  • Missed appointments or installation costs

  • Consequential losses

Our liability is limited to the cost of the product purchased.

Do not book tradespeople until you have received and checked your goods.


12. Customer Responsibilities

By ordering from us, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate delivery and contact information

  • Inspect items promptly

  • Install products correctly

  • Follow return procedures
