About the Saniflo UP 6001
The Saniflo UP is a domestic macerator designed for a WC only. Its compact design allows a toilet to be installed in locations where conventional gravity drainage may not be practical.
Designed for One WC
The Saniflo UP has one 100 mm external inlet and is specifically designed as a WC-only macerator.
Top Maintenance Access
Maintenance access is provided from the top of the unit to make inspection and servicing easier.
Direct Basket Access
In the event of a blockage caused by improper use, the basket can be accessed without dismantling the complete unit or emptying the tank.
Replacement Friendly

What Can the Saniflo UP Connect To?
The Saniflo UP 6001 is designed specifically for a single horizontally connected WC.
🚽 WC / Toilet
This model has one 100 mm external inlet. It is not the multi-inlet Saniflo model for connecting additional bathroom appliances such as a basin or shower.

Installing the Saniflo UP 6001
The diagrams supplied with the unit show the correct WC positioning, discharge arrangement, fixing method and maintenance access.
Plan the Position
Position the macerator directly behind the horizontally connected WC and plan the discharge route before fixing.
Keep the Unit Accessible
Leave sufficient access around the unit for future checks, maintenance and servicing.
Connect the WC
Connect the horizontal WC outlet securely to the 100 mm external inlet on the macerator.
Fit the Discharge
Configure the pumped discharge using the appropriate 22, 28 or 32 mm external connection.
Secure the Unit
Use the supplied fixing components and follow the fixing arrangement illustrated in the installation guide.
Connect the Electrical Supply
Electrical installation must be completed by a qualified electrical engineer in accordance with the supplied instructions.
Commission the Unit
Flush the WC and check that the unit activates, pumps correctly and all plumbing connections remain watertight.
Check Discharge Pipework
Inspect the complete discharge route and make sure it follows the installation arrangement shown in the manufacturer's guide.
Positioning the Saniflo UP Behind the Toilet
The installation diagram specifies a maximum distance of 20 cm between the WC outlet and the macerator.
Maximum WC Connection Distance: 20 cm
Keep the unit close to the WC outlet and follow the orientation shown in the supplied installation diagrams.
Top Access for Maintenance
The Saniflo UP incorporates access from the top of the unit. The supplied installation guide illustrates how the access cover is removed to reach the internal basket.
The operating manual states that electrical power must be disconnected before working on the unit. Do not place your hand into the cutter area.
Saniflo UP Pumping Distances
The maximum available horizontal discharge distance reduces as the vertical lift increases.
At the recommended maximum lift of 4 metres, the supplied installation diagram shows a maximum horizontal discharge distance of 40 metres.

UK Electrical Installation
Electrical installation must be completed in accordance with the supplied Saniflo operating instructions.
The GB operating manual specifies a fully earthed Class I 220/240 V single-phase AC 50 Hz supply. It states that the unit should not be connected to a conventional plug and socket and should instead be wired into a fused, unswitched fixed-wiring connector fitted with a 5 amp fuse. Disconnect electrical power before working on the unit.

Looking After Your Saniflo UP
Regular Descaling
Use an appropriate descaling product in accordance with the operating instructions to help control scale inside the macerator.
Keep Access Clear
Do not permanently box the unit in without providing suitable access for inspection, maintenance and servicing.
Disconnect Before Work
Always disconnect the electrical power before carrying out work on or opening the unit.
Basket Access
Top access allows the basket to be reached if a blockage occurs due to improper use without dismantling the complete unit.
