About the Saniflo Sanipro XR Up 6006
The Sanipro XR Up is a domestic macerator designed to allow the installation of a complete bathroom where conventional gravity drainage is difficult. It can evacuate wastewater from a horizontally connected WC together with compatible sanitary appliances.
Complete Bathroom Solution
The Sanipro XR Up is designed for installations requiring a WC together with compatible bathroom sanitary appliances.
Top Maintenance Access
Maintenance access is provided from the top of the unit for easier inspection and servicing.
Direct Basket Access
The basket can be accessed in the event of a blockage without dismantling the complete unit or emptying the tank.
Replacement Friendly
Identical pipe centres are designed to make replacement of an older compatible model easier.
What Can the Sanipro XR Up Be Connected To?
The Sanipro XR Up is intended for a complete bathroom installation and provides four inlets.
Sanipro XR Up Pipe Sizes
Use the correct inlet and discharge sizes when planning the installation.
Installing the Sanipro XR Up
Plan the WC connection, sanitary appliance inlets, discharge route, electrical supply and future maintenance access before permanently securing the installation.
Position the Unit
Install the macerator in the same room as the toilet and the sanitary appliances connected to it.
Keep it Accessible
The Sanipro must remain easily accessible for checks, servicing and maintenance.
Use a Level Floor
Position the unit on a perfectly level floor so the anti-vibration pads can operate effectively.
Keep Clear of the Wall
The tank should not be positioned so that it touches the wall of the room.
Connect the WC
Connect the horizontal WC outlet securely to the large macerator inlet.
Connect Waste Inlets
Connect compatible sanitary appliances using the appropriate 40 mm inlet connections.
Connect the Discharge
Configure the pumped outlet using the appropriate 22, 28 or 32 mm external discharge size.
Test the Installation
Once plumbing and electrical connections are complete, commission the system and inspect every connection for leaks.
Positioning the Sanipro Behind the WC
The installation instructions indicate a maximum WC connection distance of 20 cm. The macerator should therefore be positioned close to the horizontal toilet outlet.
Connecting a Shower
Wastewater from the shower must be able to flow by gravity towards the macerator. The height and fall of the incoming waste pipe are therefore important.
Minimum Shower Tray Height: 130 mm
The Sanipro XR Up product specification gives a minimum shower tray height of 130 mm. The installation diagram also illustrates a 13 cm minimum height and a 3% fall towards the macerator.
Sanipro XR Up Pumping Distances
Vertical lift reduces the available horizontal pumping distance. The manufacturer's installation chart gives the following relationship.
For example, at the maximum 5 metre vertical lift, the installation guide shows a maximum horizontal distance of approximately 20 metres.
Saniflo Sanipro XR Up 6006 Specifications
