SLIMFLO PRO UP Macerator Pump For Toilet, Basin, Shower & Bath

A SLIMFLO macerator provides a practical solution when conventional gravity drainage is difficult or unavailable. It allows you to add facilities such as a toilet, basin, shower or other compatible appliances in locations where installing traditional large-bore waste pipework may not be practical.

SLIMFLO products are supplied with a 5-year warranty covering eligible manufacturing faults and defective parts, subject to the product being correctly installed, operated and maintained in accordance with the supplied instructions.

Routine maintenance is generally straightforward. Keeping the unit clean and periodically removing limescale can help maintain performance. Only suitable macerator cleaning or descaling products should be used, and the pump should always be maintained according to its installation and operating instructions.

A macerator will make some noise while its motor is operating, but it normally runs only for a short period when waste water needs to be discharged. Correct installation, secure pipework and preventing vibration against surrounding surfaces can also help minimise operating noise.

Service life depends on installation quality, frequency of use, water conditions and how the unit is maintained. Correctly installed and properly maintained macerator pumps can provide many years of service. Avoiding unsuitable items and excessive limescale is particularly important.

Use a cleaner or descaler specifically suitable for macerator pumps and follow the product instructions. Avoid aggressive chemicals or unsuitable drain cleaners, as these may damage internal components, seals or pipework.

The correct model depends on what you want to connect, the required pumping distance, the vertical lift and the waste-water temperature. Check the specifications of the individual product against your installation before purchasing.

Yes. Standard toilet paper can be used with a toilet-compatible SLIMFLO macerator. Only normal human waste and toilet paper should be flushed. Wipes, sanitary products, nappies, cotton products and other foreign objects should never be put through the macerator.

Pipe sizes depend on the specific SLIMFLO model and the connection being used. Compatible connections can include 22mm, 28mm, 32mm and 40mm pipework. Always check the individual product specification and installation instructions before fitting.

Toilet-compatible SLIMFLO models are designed to connect to a suitable standard WC outlet. The exact connection requirements and compatible appliances vary by model, so always check the product specification before installation.
